Diane Deffenbaugh

Diane Deffenbaugh joined Outreach and International Affairs in 2018, where her role centers on raising awareness of the division's community engagement initiatives through a strategically integrated, digitally driven communications approach.

With a background in journalism spanning two decades, she has held roles at prominent newspapers in Pennsylvania and at The Roanoke Times in Virginia prior to coming to the university.

Deffenbaugh is an Indiana University of Pennsylvania graduate, where she earned a bachelor's degree in journalism.

Outside of work, she is an avid equestrian and a dedicated mom to a daughter, two dogs, two cats, and one horse.
