Virginia Tech-led presentations at the Engagement Scholarship Consortium's 24th Annual International Conference in Portland, Oregon, will include a wide range of topics, including creative collaboration, global sustainability, and student-community partnerships.
Carnegie Community Engagement reclassification on track for spring
The submission will include 10-15 standout projects from across the university that demonstrate Virginia Tech's commitment to community partnerships.

The Virginia Tech Newport News Center, one of the university's four Commonwealth Campus Centers, is located in Building 1 at the Tech Center Research Park in Newport News. The research park is modeled after the Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg and even has its very own miniature Drillfield.
