Steger Center Immersive Experience

Located in the heart of Europe, the Steger Center has been serving Virginia Tech students studying abroad for decades. 
The Center provides a warm, welcoming place to call home while you're immersing yourself in a new culture and traveling throughout Europe. 
The Living Learning Community at the Steger Center ensures every students has ways to stay connected and thrive in community.

Every year, the Steger Center hosts programs, faculty, and students from a wide variety of colleges and departments. The programs range from semester-long to a few weeks long.

If you're advising a sudent who is looking for a study abroad experience where they can learn in community from fellow students, local organizations, and new cultures, the Steger Center is ideal for this.  

During the summer, facilitates faculty training programs, various workshops, and faculty research groups. Virginia Tech faculty can engage with faculty from institutions across Europe and around the world in an environment that is both invigoratingly intensive and rejuvinatingly serene.
